SUDHIR KHASTGIR
Born 1907. One of the major Indian artists and sculptors of twentieth century. Studied at KalaBhavan, Santiniketan under Nandalal Basu. Wrote articles on art collected in Myself and Other Writings by Monfakira and an autobiography in Bengali, Amar E Path.

MEERA MUKHERJEE
One of the major Indian Sculptors of late twentieth century. Studied at Germany and in India with the metal craftsmen. A poet and philosopher in metal. Wrote articles on art collected in Prabahita Jibaner Bhaskarya by Monfakira and a book on the Indian craftsmen in Bengali, Biswakarmar Sandhane.

NIKHIL BISWAS
A major Indian artist of late twentieth century. Powerful artist, theoretician and organizer of art movement. Wrote articles on art collected in Shilper Chokh by Monfakira. Nearly one hundred of his unseen drawings were first collected in Nari Purush O Anyanya Rekharup by Monfakira.
